End-to-end platform for leveraged capital markets professionals
Building and improving digital products destined to the financial world: trusted data, news and analysis on the global credit markets. Working on Fixed Income Divisional Intelligence (mainly Debtwire, but also xTract Research and Creditflux).
Debtwire reports on corporate debt situations before credit ratings are changed. It offers unique insights and in-depth credit analysis, debt data, and analytics for distressed debt and leveraged finance markets. (Find distressed situations early / Discover restructuring, financing and advisory opportunities first / Identify companies with value opportunities).
As a senior product designer my work consisted of:
designing new features and always looking to improve the product
constantly collaborating with the PM team and the Relationship Management and providing support for everything I could help with
analysing the available quantitative data (Piwick, Hotjar), make reports and look for opportunities
having interviews with the end users: either discovery interviews to identify possible opportunities for the product, or usability interviews to test/ validate new prototyped ideas.
collaborate with the Design team on constantly improving the working process.
Facilitating different exercises (eg. card sorting, mini design sprints, sketching) with different stakeholders / depending on the needs of the product and team
documenting the final designs and making sure it covers all the uses cases, needed screen sizes and other details.

Template dashboard POC
Situation: As part of IonGroup, the structure of the design team changed and new challenges surfaced. We needed to build a POC of a new dashboard shell that would be usable for multiple situations, and demonstrate its practicability to the stakeholders.
My work:
designed the charts and table components – easy adaptable to the specific use cases we had
designed a dark and light theme for the dashboard
Built complete prototype for the POC showcase
Provided support for the implementation team
Organisational profile
Problem: We needed to improve organisation profiles on another ION Group products.
Process:
Discovery interview with users to find our their opinion on the current organisation profiles and to find out new opportunities
Built a solution to cover the discovered opportunities and other ideas
Prepares user interviews to test the prototype

Company directory (fine) redesign
Problem: We need a new/ improved Company directory, that offers more information/ a bigger picture over a particular list of companies, so that the users can easily compare financial data, build a portfolio or find business opportunities.
Process:
Discovery interviews to find out about the current needs

Piwick analysis (reports on the company directory usage)

Design systems work
We needed to have the design system in place, so that all the designers in the team are aligned and using the proper components, we keep a consistency along Acuris and all product divisions.
Process:
audit for all existing Acuris products
check Figma/ sketch files for final designs
import components from Sketch to Figma – and make sure everything is working properly
plan for new components
build the base for the Design system in Figma
continue adding the newly build components
